Rouse – The Image Feed Browser

July 19th, 2010 in Rouse, Work In Progress

We are working on a completely new way to experience images on the iPad. With Rouse you can browse image feeds from around the world and keep track of your favorite sources of inspiration.

We are really excited to be able to tell you more about this project we’ve been working on for the past few months. Read on.

What’s an Image Feed Browser?

An image feed browser is, simply put, an app that will intelligently parse any RSS feed and display you a stream of images. We think the iPad is the ultimate sofa device and what better environment is there to sip a cup of tea and flick through a world of inspiration? None, we tell you! That’s why we’ve build a platform that let’s you explore and keep track of your feeds, add pictures to your own virtual drawer or explore the most popular feeds.

All About the Image Content

Rouse is all about image content. There are tons of great feeds out there that will serve you up daily inspiration wether it be design or photography. Every inch of Rouse is designed with the intention to spoon feed you with a stream of inspiration.

When?

We’ve still got this bread in the oven, but we felt that we wanted to get you invested already now. Head over to our Teaser Site for more information and sign up to be notified when this baby ships to the app store.

Finally someone just read my mind. As a designer I was waiting for the app like this. I really hate most of the iPad rss reader. I just want to see inspirations images not the text :) . By the way any news on when to expect it (just approximation)

Amazing! When will this be out? Looks like production has halted somewhat. I’ve been dying to use my shiny shiny ipad for browsing and organizing project inspiration. Really hope this is on its way.
